I had the great honour to have the chance to meet the alderman of The Hague - Saskia Bruines, who supported the Haagse Stadstekenaar project since 2023. Together with Florien Vos, Eva Burgering, and Eliza Bol, we went to her office. In the meeting, she asked me what I do as a Stadstekenaar, the ideas behind the drawings, the workshops and activities related, the experience and outings I made in the research, and the audience feedback. We also had a chat about my personal experience as an artist in The Hague from Beijing. We had a fruitful exchange. I gifted her the reproduction of my frist drawing.
