Thank you for coming to the opening of Anatomy of Obstruction, the exhibition as the seventh edition of Post/No/Bills, a series showcasing new design and art along the central corridor of Stedelijk Museum Amserdam curated by Thomas Castro.
It’s my first solo exhibition, and it’s in Stedelijk! And it’s the first time ever I needed to make such big works — not something to hang on a wall, not anything shown on a stage for a night — but massive, architectural, central, and long-standing. There have been a lot of challenges and excitement, but I am most thankful for the trust from Thomas and the Stedelijk team.
I am more than lucky to have so many friends, colleagues, and my teachers showing up that night. It’s so nice to see designers and artists mingle and the seemingly separate worlds are actually one.
I just want you all to know that on top of everything I feel, I am HAPPY, when I make art! Wish we all stay well and connected. Hit me up when you wanna come by stedelijk and let’s hang out under the 💋fleshy interiors💋….

I had a great time performing Revolution is a Dinner Party at Oerol Festival. During the performance at Bostheatre, the sparrows in the forest were very excited when I spoke in high-picthed sparrow voice. They conversed with my sparrow and sang with it! In the summer, I will bring this work around: June 26 at Pickle Bar Berlin and July 18 at Varia Rotterdma. Keep tuned!
In the exhibition Out of Office (Still Here), Nest examines the notion of ‘leisure’ by opening the doors during the long summer holidays to all those remaining in the city. I will present my work Future Dance of Nostalgia in the exhibition and perform at the opening.
On March 13th, the exhibition and the publication launch of the Haagse Stadstekenaar 2025 opened at Huis van het Boek with my performance.
The exhibition is at the garden house and it goes on till April 12. Please go and have a look of the original drawings and buy the publication!
Last week the exhibition of Haagse Stadstekenaar opened in the Atrium in The Hague’s city hall. In the lightboxes of the Atrium you can see all drawings I made last year. The exhibtion goes until March 1st.
I opened the exhibition with a special performance where a rat married a seagull. See more pictures here.
On Friday March 13th, during Hoogtij, I will launch the new riso publication with the drawings. The event will take place at Huis van het Boek, and I will perform a new piece.
